How has your week been?

My week didn’t go to plan… & yet still worked out perfectly.

After soaking up all the newborn cuddles with my nephew, I jumped on a flight to Dubai to lay down some serious Firebelly foundations and meet with our CRO Director, Hasher.

Here’s the plot twist…
I slept so soundly (thanks to my trusty Loop earplugs), I completely missed the pilot announcing that we were turning the plane around.

Yep…due to rising tensions between the US and Iran, we rerouted straight back to the UK.

Now, I could’ve been stressed. But I’m a big believer in Burnt Toast Theory, those random inconveniences that seem annoying in the moment but save you from something bigger.

So instead of landing in Dubai, I landed in London for 24 glorious hours with one of my best friends. And it was magic. ✨

Fast forward: I’m now writing this from a wildly hot (38 degrees) Dubai, coffee in hand, ready to push Firebelly’s next chapter forward. The energy here is electric.

This week reminded me:
Trust the detours. They’re often redirections in disguise.
